Possible Thanks Ahead To Uncle Sam

One day I can just imagine myself actually living somewhere down in the southern part of the U.S., possibly Florida, close to the beach, where I can enjoy the warmer weather that is available to the good folks that live down south. I am so sick and tired of the cold and wet winters each and every year, non stop. Even though the last couple of winters have been mild they still just suck and I can’t even imagine dealing with this stuff for the rest of my life!

Today I spend my lunch hour at my computer, looking at some of the most awesome Palm Beach Waterfront Real Estate that I’ve ever laid my eyes on and can only dream that I would be able to see myself there. But a girl can dream can’t she? I mean I do have faith and I know that there are a lot of years ahead of me, I just don’t know how to plan this whole thing out. Even with a great tax refund heading my way, it would take years of sticking my returns right into the bank some how and let it grow. You know – that just might be the way to go after all. I mean Uncle Sam has to be good for something these days!

Cherry Pie

There was a special on the McDonald’s drive through menu for two apple pies for one dollar. I think the regular price for their pies is a dollar, so you are getting a special deal of two for the price of one. Of course, that assumes that you want two of them.

That’s what I ordered to go along with my fish sandwich meal. But when I bit into my pie at home, it was not an apple pie – it was a cherry pie. That’s not what I wanted, but I ate it anyway and it was pretty good. I just don’t like it when you go to the drive through and they mess up your order and don’t realize it until you get all they way home and then it is too late to do anything about it.

I’ve been told that all you have to do is call that store and tell the manager about my problem and that they will most likely replace my order next time I stop in, but I really don’t feel like taking the time away from a busy manager there over a cherry pie, but I will start checking my orders before leaving the parking lot!
